Job Requirements

  • at least 4 years of management experience
  • ability to comprehend and comply with policies and instructions
  • excellent computer and typing skills
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • basic math skills
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to move vehicles as needed
  • motivated and able to work independently
  • ability to wear and use required safety equipment
  • ability to perform physical labor including walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, climbing
  • manual dexterity to operate controls and equipment
  • comfortable climbing trailers and working at heights
  • ability to work outside in various weather conditions
  • compliance with company rules and applicable laws and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • ability to analyze operational data
  • valid driver's license
  • motivated and able to work independently
  • knowledge of DOT regulations and terminal operations preferred

Job Duties

  • manage day-to-day operations of the facilities
  • responsible for work schedules and workload assignments
  • address customer related challenges
  • find logical, safe and efficient solutions to assist in the growth of the operation
  • oversee terminal employees including hiring, training, coaching, disciplining and supervising direct reports
  • ensure terminal practices, policies and procedures are understood and executed
  • ensure compliance with all safety related requirements
  • document performance discrepancies
  • resolve and/or elevate employee concerns
  • promote clean and safe working conditions
  • analyze operations data and reports to promote terminal efficiency
  • communicate and collaborate with other company terminals and departments
  • represent the company and carry out duties in a professional manner
