Job Requirements

  • Must possess computer experience of 6 months or more
  • Ability to navigate electronic devices including computers, fax machines, printers, and timeclocks
  • Knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance issues
  • Experience and understanding of commercial issues in aviation
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Capable of processing information in a timely manner
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Previous ramp or airline experience
  • Must complete all training requirements and maintain certifications
  • Must clear an FBI fingerprint background check
  • Must be physically fit to perform job duties including lifting up to 70 pounds
  • Willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions
  • Availability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work extended hours on short notice during irregular operations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous ramp or airline experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to use electronic devices such as computers, fax machines, printers, and timeclocks
  • Understanding of commercial aviation issues
  • Working knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Successful completion of training requirements and certifications
  • Ability to pass FBI fingerprint background check

Job Duties

  • Ensure Ramp Agents report to work on time
  • Make sure Ramp Agents wear personal protective equipment and are ready to perform duties
  • Provide input on operational improvements and efficiencies
  • Report operational feedback regarding flight delays and performance to leadership
  • Address security-related issues and conduct meetings
  • Perform duties under pressure and within time constraints
  • Ensure compliance with uniform standards
  • Lift, load, unload, and transport customer bags and cargo
  • Drive and operate ground support equipment
  • Prepare aircraft cabins for boarding and departure
  • Ensure availability of necessary ground equipment for flights
  • Follow company and federal safety regulations
  • Perform other duties as required
