Job Requirements
- Must possess computer experience of 6 months or more
- Ability to navigate electronic devices including computers, fax machines, printers, and timeclocks
- Knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance issues
- Experience and understanding of commercial issues in aviation
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Capable of processing information in a timely manner
- Must have and maintain a valid driverâs license
- Able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English
- Basic computer literacy
- Previous ramp or airline experience
- Must complete all training requirements and maintain certifications
- Must clear an FBI fingerprint background check
- Must be physically fit to perform job duties including lifting up to 70 pounds
- Willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions
- Availability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work extended hours on short notice during irregular operations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous ramp or airline experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to use electronic devices such as computers, fax machines, printers, and timeclocks
- Understanding of commercial aviation issues
- Working knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Valid driverâs license
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Successful completion of training requirements and certifications
- Ability to pass FBI fingerprint background check
Job Duties
- Ensure Ramp Agents report to work on time
- Make sure Ramp Agents wear personal protective equipment and are ready to perform duties
- Provide input on operational improvements and efficiencies
- Report operational feedback regarding flight delays and performance to leadership
- Address security-related issues and conduct meetings
- Perform duties under pressure and within time constraints
- Ensure compliance with uniform standards
- Lift, load, unload, and transport customer bags and cargo
- Drive and operate ground support equipment
- Prepare aircraft cabins for boarding and departure
- Ensure availability of necessary ground equipment for flights
- Follow company and federal safety regulations
- Perform other duties as required
