Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to successfully pass Benihana chef training program
- Previous experience as chef or cook highly desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to engage guests effectively
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests within 15 minutes of their teppan order
- Perform a cooking show for assigned tables ensuring appropriate and courteous interaction with guests
- Provide information about Benihana foods during cooking or upon guest inquiries
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests
- Ask guests for cooking preferences and follow guest instructions
- Prepare various meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using kitchen equipment
- Perform shift opening and closing duties including cleaning refrigeration units, chef carts and floors
