Job Requirements

- Intermediate to advanced database management experience
- Ability to learn new software and implement/plan conversions to new systems

Job Duties
- In collaboration with the Volunteer Services Manager, work with the team to build a culture of a unified volunteer team for DAP Health/Revivals
- Oversee volunteer database and work with team to maintain volunteer database including records regarding hours of volunteer service, application packets, and reports
- Responsible for creating volunteer badges, monitoring milestones, tracking and awards, and monthly recruitment
- Work with the Volunteer Manager on budget and any concerns related to the Volunteer Services Department
- Schedule and administer the volunteers of DAP Health departments and areas such as Community Health, Welcome Desk, Food and Transportation, Wellness Center and Health Clinics, etc.
- Work with the Volunteer Manager to create the newsletter and oversee the distribution
- Assist DAP Health department managers and Volunteer Services Manager with volunteer orientation and ensure appropriate safety training for each volunteer in coordination with the Safety & Emergency Preparedness Manager
- Audit volunteer files to ensure completeness
- Review and update volunteer job descriptions including responsibilities to ensure they are up to date
- Counsel volunteers and end relationships when necessary
- Recruit volunteers for all DAP Health/Revivals opportunities through available recruitment methods
- Review Volunteer applications and conduct in-person interviews and screenings, and schedule orientation of volunteers
- Work with the volunteer team to development new recruitment methods and opportunities
- In collaboration with the Volunteer Services Manager, work to ensure a quality experience for all volunteers
- Help to create volunteer team building activities
- Partner with the volunteer team on the creation of the annual volunteer appreciation event
- Work with the volunteer team to establish programs for volunteer recognition
