Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of simple foods for retail franchises, including casseroles, convenience foods, frozen foods, simple meats, and salads
- Make French fries, hot and cold sandwiches, coffee, cook omelets and burgers
- Slice meat, cut cake and pie, prepare assorted dough pizzas
- Take food to serving lines and replenish as needed
- Assist by serving on buffet lines including sandwich bars, hot lines, and salad bars
- Use a computerized cash register terminal to add costs and process digital payments
- Maintain cashier islands and dining areas including restocking condiments and cleaning tables and chairs
- Receive stock, check deliveries against orders, and document accordingly
- Rotate and date stock to ensure usage before expiration
- Move items from storage to kitchen as directed
- Take weekly inventory of storeroom, freezer, and cooler products
- Fill out paperwork for service records and food production
- Properly store food items according to safety standards
- Observe and maintain safety and sanitation regulations
