Job Duties
- Welcomes, informs, and directs all visitors, calls, and customers in a courteous and expeditious manner
- Ensures that all customers, community leaders, and officials feel welcomed and well received by the agency
- Directs visitors to sign in and calls the person with whom they are meeting
- if designated staff member is not available, calls an assigned contact person
- Contacts appropriate departments if a visitor appears without an appointment to determine if the visitor can be seen or needs to leave information for a follow-up call
- Maintains and keeps organized the reception area, so that customers and visitors can be assisted in an orderly, pleasant, timely and business like manner
- Maintains a visitor log and provides summary information as requested
- Directs visitors to elevators and bathroom facilities, as appropriate
- Performs other related duties as assigned
