Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age or older
- ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, stooping, squatting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking, and kneeling frequently and occasionally
- ability to safely handle and operate case cutters, utility knives, pallet jacks, compact balers
- forklift certification is a plus
- compliance with all local, state, and federal laws for liquor sales
- ability to work inside in variable temperature conditions and some outside work
- no use or influence of illegal drugs, alcohol, or impairing substances on the job
- ability to work full time
- must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties
- consistently demonstrate the Woods Supermarket D>E service and Hospitality 4 guidelines
- adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company standards
- notify management of guest or teammate accidents or injuries
- report all safety risks and illegal activity including robbery, theft, or fraud
- be respectful, courteous, and helpful to other teammates
- stay current with all ads
- understand the store's layout and assist guests in locating products
- perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by managers
- check product quality to ensure freshness
- review 'sell by' dates and take appropriate actions
- provide guests with fresh and non-perishable grocery products
- recommend grocery items to guests
- label, stock, and inventory department merchandise
- report product ordering and shipping discrepancies
- report pricing discrepancies to the pricing coordinator
- ensure all department teammates follow company hospitality guidelines
- communicate company, department, and job-specific information
- develop scheduling strategies to manage guest volume
- train and develop teammates providing feedback and coaching
- order department-specific merchandise including seasonal items
- track inventory and report shrink for the department
