Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred
  • Ability to manage time effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours)
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move kitchen supplies
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Adherence to food safety procedures
  • Availability for temporary or on-call work shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time)
  • Ability to move, lift and handle equipment, supplies and other objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to position self to move items weighing up to 25 pounds from floor to shelves and cabinets above and below counter height
  • Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting company standards
  • Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
  • Stock kitchen inventory as needed
  • Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues
  • Clean and sanitize dishes and equipment
  • Perform all tasks relating to retail, safety and sanitation of food service facilities
  • Assist with food preparation in different units such as making parfait cups/fruit cups for the C-store, making sauces for Street Fare, pulling pastries for Starbucks, getting items ready for Taco Bell (such as thawing meat, taking out vegetables, etc)
