Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • ability to use reservation and seating management software
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • physical ability to stand for long periods
  • adherence to food safety standards
  • willingness to work lunch shifts and manage flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision
  • positive, respectful, excellent communication and listening skills
  • ability to maintain standing position for extended periods
  • follow food safety procedures for handling and serving food products

Job Duties

  • Manage the OpenTable software to seat and assign tables and perform other restaurant duties
  • gather information for front of house, back of house team members, and guests
  • seat guests to optimize dining experience, pacing of service team, and dining room use
  • present menus and communicate with servers
  • answer phones according to service standards
  • confirm reservations with guests
  • execute all guest interactions with professionalism and joy
  • alert server about special notes in reservations including allergies and occasions
  • update Guest Experience Profile and alert management of issues
