Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment preferred but not required
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • must be able to lift up to 50 lbs safely
  • reliable transportation to and from work or ability to commute
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced team setting

Job Duties

  • operate and maintain the dishwasher ensuring proper washing rinsing and sanitizing procedures
  • keep the dish area clean and organized throughout your shift adhering strictly to all cleaning and sanitation guidelines for food safety and health code compliance
  • manually scrub and sanitize pots pans and kitchen tools
  • scrape sort and efficiently load dirty dishes into the machine
  • unload inspect and organize clean dishes for proper storage
  • transport and restock clean dishes glassware and utensils to designated areas
  • assist as needed including emptying trash cleaning tilts and kettles spot sweeping mopping and restocking sorting silverware
  • assist culinary staff with light prep plating and food distribution for both plated and buffet-style service
  • pull and organize equipment for events sorting and staging service ware for FOH event teams
  • transport hot cold boxes to and from event spaces
  • return equipment to the dish room and ensure it is cleaned and stored in its proper location
