Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in dining or hospitality services is an advantage
- ability to work early morning shifts including breakfast and brunch hours
- reliable and punctual with excellent attendance
- physically able to stand for long periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
- ability to follow health and safety standards and food safety procedures
- effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision
- positive, respectful, excellent communication and listening skills
- ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time)
- follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products
Job Duties
- Replenish water and condiments for guests
- carry trays to assist with service
- clear any used or unwanted items from tables
- clear tables of dishes, glassware, and silverware
- stack dishes as instructed for efficient transport
- safely transport soiled items to the dishwashing area for cleaning
- adhere to all established Morris Inn recycling practices
- exercise caution and care when handling china, glassware, and silverware to prevent breakage
