Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles preferred
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
Valid transportation to commute to job sites
Strong communication skills
Ability to follow safety protocols and wear required safety equipment
Pass background check, drug screening, and physical endurance test

Reliable transportation
Ability to work independently
Ability to stand for extended periods
Meet the physical requirements including walking, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, reaching over the shoulder, lifting 1-35 lbs constantly, lifting 36-50 lbs occasionally

Job Duties

Pick up trash as needed and empty trash receptacles
Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning cobwebs, wiping down surfaces, restroom cleaning
Clean exterior surfaces of windows, windowsills, and doors
Remove and/or clean up any debris or soil such as stickers, chewing gum, coffee spills, graffiti
Continuously walk the property to inspect all public areas for cleanliness
Notify the supervisor in case there is a need for repairs
Always wear the appropriate safety equipment for the task including gloves, goggles, safety vest
