Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years of related culinary experience
  • Post-high school education preferably in culinary arts
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards
  • Experience managing staff and operations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events
  • Ability to be hands-on with staff and operations

Job Qualifications

  • Two to three years experience in a related culinary position
  • Two to three years of post-high school education preferably a culinary degree
  • Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices
  • Management experience with people or problem-solving
  • Excellent oral, reading, and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work event-based hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Supervise and participate in food production, preparation, and presentation
  • Ensure sufficient inventory and record deliveries
  • Maintain proper handling of food products and equipment
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Interview, schedule, train, develop, empower, and coach staff
  • Resolve problems and provide open communication
  • Recommend discipline as appropriate
