Job Requirements
- HS diploma preferred
- 1 year minimum experience in career related field
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret recipes and customer order forms
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials related to trades
- Working knowledge of POS system
- Basic math and computer skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid NYS Driver's License preferred

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret recipes and customer order forms
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
- Ability to interact with, monitor, and assess employees
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials related to trades
- Working knowledge of POS system
- Strong communication, time and resource management, planning, and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail during quality inspections
- Basic math and computer skills
- Willingness to work independently or in teams
- Flexibility for early morning, night, weekend, and holiday work
- Ability to work in hot, hectic environments and lift heavy items for extended periods
Job Duties
- Decorating and displaying finished products
- Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payments, and providing exceptional customer service
- Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
- Keep product stocked for daily operations
- Manage supplies and preparation
- communicate to staff when order supplies is necessary
- Keep storage, preparation and working areas clean and orderly
- Work as a team member with other bakery, WAY and agency staff
- Contribute usable information concerning specialty area
- Cash out customers and make change correctly
- Demonstrate accountability for cash drawer
