Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in event or conference planning
  • experience in academic or higher education setting strongly preferred
  • detail-oriented
  • able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • strong commitment to customer service
  • excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
  • exceptional computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
  • familiarity with databases preferred

Job Duties

  • provide logistical support for events including developing timelines coordinating menus vendors venues and arranging media and technology services
  • manage event budgets coordinate publicity efforts conduct post-event evaluations maintain clear proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • support day-to-day administrative tasks related to event and program operations as needed
