Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- must be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who is endowed and holds a current temple recommend
- ability to use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- reliable and punctual
- willing to comply with all safety and security procedures
- physically able to perform cleaning duties
- flexibility to complete all assigned tasks
Job Qualifications
- Must be an endowed member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a current temple recommendation
- ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with diverse groups
- flexibility to perform a variety of cleaning tasks
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
- adherence to safety and compliance standards
- previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
Job Duties
- Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities
- notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs
- establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers
- complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities
- completes all assigned cleaning tasks with flexibility
- cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
- dusts furniture, walls, light fixtures
- removes stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals
- mixes water and detergents or acids to prepare cleaning solutions
- cleans and vacuums carpeted areas including spot cleaning
- gathers and empties trash
- wipes and cleans tabletops and chairs
- cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures
- services, cleans, and supplies restrooms
- cleans glass doors
- maintains janitor's closet neat and orderly and keeps equipment in good working order
- requisitions supplies and equipment needed
- performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
