Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move files and supplies up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive data entry motions for extended periods
  • Successful completion of a background check and physical exam
  • Compliance with federal and state regulations regarding criminal justice information access
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment with frequent interruptions
  • Capacity to communicate effectively with employees, the public, and vendors
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as scanners, copiers, printers, and multi-line phone systems

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma, GED, or higher education
  • At least one year of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment using computers and multi-line telephone systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Demonstrated professionalism and customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Answers incoming calls from internal and external customers using a multi-line telephone system
  • Screens and directs calls to the appropriate party and takes complete and accurate messages
  • Directs foot traffic to the correct location for needed departments
  • Receives and directs packages, mail, and other deliveries to proper recipients
  • Schedules conference rooms and organizes meetings, training sessions, and vendor events
  • Monitors controlled access doors
  • Prepares documents, maintains files, and makes copies
