Job Requirements

  • Must reside in California
  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English
  • Prior experience in import/export documentation, logistics, or accounting support preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online communication tools
  • Availability to work evening hours and flexible schedule

Job Duties

  • Communicate with customs brokers primarily Japan-based regarding import shipments
  • Prepare and submit shipping documentation and customs clearance forms
  • Respond to customs-related inquiries and resolve clearance issues
  • Track container status and liaise with freight forwarders
  • Support the sales team with product POP material creation and other administrative tasks
  • Handle accounting-related tasks such as invoice preparation, payment tracking, expense reporting, and coordinating with vendors/customers as needed
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support related to logistics, sales, and accounting
