Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-6 months related experience and/or training
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to comply with financial regulations

- 1-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of financial institution regulations
- Commitment to compliance and ethical standards
Job Duties
- Greet and assist members with financial transactions on all types of accounts
- Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and examine checks for endorsement
- Cash checks and pay out money after verifying signatures and member balances
- Enter members' transactions into computer systems and issue receipts
- Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds
- Order daily cash supply and count incoming cash
- Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and reconcile with computer data
- Explain, promote, or sell credit union products and services
- Remove deposits from and balance cash in automated teller machines and night depository
- Accept loan payments
- Comply with Bank Secrecy Act, AML, OFAC, and other applicable regulations
- Develop understanding of credit union philosophy, bylaws, and operational procedures
