Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- preferred trade school certificate
- mechanical aptitude and skilled with handheld tools
- experience in technical installation roles
- prior work as mobile electronics installer or 12V technician preferred
- ability to operate and test machinery safely
- capable of removing and integrating ignition and telematics systems
- excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- availability to travel within a 250-mile radius
- physical ability to bend, squat, lift over 25 pounds and walk long distances
- open to occasional weekend work and on-call duties
- must pass a 10-panel drug screen
- clean driving record and pass background checks
- willing to be clean shaven for worksite access
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- trade school certificate preferred
- mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools
- experience in related fields such as electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, or automotive electronics technician
- ability to work hard and eagerness to learn
- clean driving record and ability to pass background check
- willingness to travel up to 250 miles from the local branch
- strong attention to detail
- ownership of personal tools
- able to maneuver in tight spaces and lift heavy objects
- ability to comply with safety requirements including drug screening
Job Duties
- Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles and construction equipment
- operate machinery for testing during installation
- remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between keypad and telematics
- manage complex wiring harnesses accessing CAN networks
- identify and resolve installation problems and develop solutions
- travel to client sites and rental yards for installations
- advocate for the EquipmentShare platform and brand while on the job
- work occasionally outside regular business hours and on weekends
