Job Requirements
- Valid FAA Part 107 commercial drone certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- 1099 career mindset understanding independent travel and expense responsibilities
- Possession of own operational personal vehicle meeting professional standards or willingness to rent
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to learn and integrate within a safety-conscious, professional team environment
- Safety conscious mindset
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Own commercial drone equipment such as Mavic 3 Enterprise with RTK, Matterport Pro3, or Leica BLK360
Job Qualifications
- Possession of FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven ability to operate commercial drone equipment effectively
- Strong safety conscious mindset
- Demonstrated professionalism and reliability in field operations
- Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
- Willingness to learn and collaborate within a safety-minded team
Job Duties
- Operate drone to conduct inspections of transmission and distribution utility assets
- Ensure safe and efficient data collection as well as successful upload of all collected data
- Follow Zeitview’s standardized workflows and defined safety practices
- Maintain an unwavering commitment to professionalism while representing Zeitview in the field
- Adhere to shot lists and training provided for each Statement of Work
- Manage personal scheduling and travel arrangements for mission assignments
- Participate in safety training and continuous learning to improve operational performance
