Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, english, human-centered design, or similar field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in marketing or event coordination
  • Prior experience in A/E/C or SaaS industry preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across organizational levels
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Flexibility to handle last-minute changes and large-scale requests
  • Willingness and ability to travel 9-12 times annually
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, Human-Centered Design, or a similar field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in marketing or event coordination (A/E/C or SaaS industry experience preferred)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments and deadlines concurrently
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated organization, detail orientation, and follow-through skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to be flexible, including handling last-minute or large-scale requests
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision
  • Exceptional client service mentality, strong work ethic, and take-charge attitude

Job Duties

  • Work with Kimley-Horn conference attendees to coordinate our engagement and effective attendance at conferences
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop proposals for speaker presentations, white papers, project awards, and other marketing content
  • Support or lead product demonstrations and presentations at industry events to generate leads
  • Write and edit content for social media platforms, award submittals, and other channels as needed
  • Coordinate event-related needs such as registering conference attendees, ordering promotional giveaways, tracking deadlines, developing marketing materials, data entry, and other department activities, as needed
  • Work with product marketing and communications partners to promote conference involvement including speakers, booths, awards, and other marketing activities
  • Willingness and ability to travel 9-12 times per calendar year
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned
