Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in biology, neuroscience, computer science or related field
  • 0-1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • familiarity with rodent behavior testing and data analysis preferred
  • ability to follow lab safety and technique protocols
  • capability to work independently with supervision
  • good communication and collaboration skills
  • willingness to engage in technical training

Job Qualifications

  • 0-1 year of related experience or equivalent education and experience
  • prior laboratory experience preferred
  • experience with rodent behavior or programming and data analysis preferred

Job Duties

  • perform behavioral testing
  • conduct mouse surgeries
  • analyze data related to neural circuits and sleep regulation
  • manage mouse colony and order supplies
  • maintain laboratory tools and ensure regulatory compliance
  • collaborate with graduate students, postdoctoral associates, and principal investigator on research projects
  • support scientific publication efforts through project assistance
