Job Requirements

Position based out of branch or site location
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties
Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities
Sufficient vision or other powers of observation
Sufficient manual dexterity to perform routine duties
Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes for office duties and travel
Ability to maneuver within refinery or plant environment including elevated platforms
Must wear safety equipment as required
Ability to tolerate climate changes
May be required to travel out of town periodically
Interstate travel requirements 0% to 25%

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Technical school or relevant training preferred
Three years of industry-related experience preferred
Recent military service with mechanical, instrument, or electrical training
Strong communication skills
Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively

Job Duties

Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to company and customer safety standards and practices
Perform isolation and hydrostatic weld testing services including walk down of lines, pipe preparation, isolation plug maintenance, double block and bleed isolation and associated weld tests
Identify circumstances requiring use of proper safety procedures and equipment
Execute duties in accordance with TEAM's documented procedures
Lead other technicians on site if required
Communicate effectively with crew, supervisors and client personnel
Adjust and tolerate climate changes while working at multiple job sites
