Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs at a time
- Ability to move up and down ladders frequently
- Comfortable working at heights frequently
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record report
- Vocational or technical certification and 1 year experience or 2 years total work experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
Job Qualifications
- Vocational or technical certification
- 1 year experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
- Completion of a 2-year vocational or technical trade program preferred
- License in related trade in city and/or state preferred
- Proficiency in intermediate level word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
- Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders to support stores and store associates and document repair activities
- Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
- Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
- Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely
