Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of event logistics experience preferred
- Experience with event management software preferred
- Ability to work evenings and or weekends as needed
- Valid Texas driver’s license
- Proof of liability insurance
- Insurable under South Texas College’s insurance policy
- Ability to maintain authorization to drive College-owned vehicles
- Subject to criminal background check
- Subject to federal background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend and perform physical tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to travel within the college district using reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of event logistics experience preferred
- Experience with event management software preferred
- Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize organize and complete multiple tasks with attention to detail within stated deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as a team player
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced high-intensity work situations
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to maintain authorization to drive College-owned vehicles

Job Duties
- Assist in the coordination of all event logistics including transportation equipment and vendor management
- Support in setting up and breaking down event spaces ensuring all materials equipment and decor are in place and functioning properly
- Help maintain and monitor event schedules ensuring all timelines and deadlines are met throughout the planning and execution process
- Track and manage event materials supplies and equipment ensuring all items are accounted for and available when needed
- Provide immediate on-site assistance solving any logistical custodial issues that arise during events
- Ensure that all event setups adhere to safety and regulatory standards maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff
- Help with post-event breakdowns cleanup and store equipment furniture
- Performs other duties as assigned
