  • Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Physical ability to climb ladders
  • Physical ability to operate lifts as required
  • Working knowledge of lighting, sound, and video systems
  • Willingness and desire to learn

Job Duties

  • Oversee technical operations and maintenance for university events including lighting, staging, sound, and video support
  • Support Conference Center events
  • Manage music department performances
  • Provide technical support for university and external productions such as daily chapel, graduation, and various campus events
  • Supervise and support student employees assisting with technical operations
  • Coordinate student employee schedules to align with event requirements and academic commitments
  • Coordinate technical event scheduling using university software systems
  • Coordinate chapel-related technical scheduling and staffing as needed
  • Oversee technical equipment, systems, and procedures for all university venues
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
