Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 10+ years of relevant real estate project management experience
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-value construction projects
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Advanced financial acumen and budget management experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in developing process improvements
- Knowledge of jurisdictional regulations and compliance
- Ability to synthesize and present executive-level business cases
Job Qualifications
- 10+ years of real estate project management experience in industrial operations, automobile service and charging, R&D lab and commercial office settings over 300,000 square feet
- Experience leading large-scale construction projects with teams of project managers, architects, contractors, consultants and attorneys on deals valued at $20M+
- Exceptional project delivery skills including jurisdictional knowledge and stakeholder communication
- Advanced financial reporting, analysis, and budget management skills
- Experience developing and implementing process improvements to streamline project delivery cycle
- Proven ability to deliver projects in fast-paced environments emphasizing speed, flexibility and frugality
- Business relationship management expertise
- Degree in construction management, architecture, real estate, business administration or finance
- Interest or experience in automotive or rideshare sectors
- Experience in R&D lab delivery with technical building and site infrastructure knowledge
Job Duties
- Manage site due diligence, negotiate transaction work letter documents, permitting, design oversight and build out across workplace, lab, industrial and manufacturing typologies
- Synthesize and present executive-level business cases for capital investment strategies across diverse projects
- Build trusted relationships across business units acting as liaison to ensure alignment between investments and portfolio strategies
- Communicate expectations, requirements and status of deals to key stakeholders promoting speed, flexibility and frugality
- Collaborate closely with legal, finance, procurement, GPS, security and network teams to deliver successful projects
- Innovate and execute processes and tools ensuring consistent project delivery from site search to operational launch
- Create and implement systems of metrics to plan, manage and measure project delivery performance
