Job Requirements
- Associates degree in a technical field with minimum 4 years experience
- inventory experience a plus
- ability to perform complex data entry and maintain inventory systems
- capability to interpret technical drawings
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication skills including written and verbal
- ability to work independently with limited supervision
- proficiency in software applications such as Syteline and SAP
- physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- willingness to provide after-hours support
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- minimum of 4 years experience in a related role
- proficiency in MRP, spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications
- ability to work effectively with limited supervision
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- fluency in English
- ability to interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence
- effective presentation skills
- ability to calculate figures and apply algebraic concepts
- strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret various instructions
- valid drivers license where applicable
Job Duties
- Perform more varied and difficult aspects of the job with limited guidance
- read and interpret drawings for customer support and planning
- input and maintain inventory data for master files in Syteline and SAP
- create and input orders into Syteline Customer Order Module
- create requisitions, pick lists, travelers and job paperwork
- maintain and track order status to ensure timely delivery
- prepare and track kits for manufactured items
- issue RMA tracking numbers for repairs
- determine disposition of parts for repair
- issue parts to jobs from pick lists
- maintain SOS stock levels and process special orders
- perform warehouse functions including cycle counts and restocking
- serve as backup for Product Support Specialist and Expeditors
- provide AOG support during off-hours
- coordinate parts distribution and counter-to-counter activities
- dispatch surplus inventory
- analyze shipped orders against purchase orders
- verify and log billable engineering hours and expenses
- coordinate return of items for repair or exchange
- prepare and review quotes for customers
- secure vendor quotes and lead times
- determine accurate pricing for quotes
- review customer purchase orders for special requirements
- investigate jobs with unusual charges
- monitor engineering support jobs
- interface with vendors and engineering for obsolete parts replacements
- administer warranty for outside customers
