Job Requirements
- valid driver’s license
- dependable method of transportation
- at least 7 years of experience in bakery operational settings
- certification from an accredited culinary or baking school preferred
- ability to read and interpret business and technical documents
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- ability to conduct calculations related to baking and business metrics
- capable of traveling domestically and internationally up to 85%
- physical ability to perform demands of the role including lifting up to 20 pounds
- compliance with company safety and food handling policies
Job Qualifications
- certification from an accredited culinary or baking school preferred
- at least 7 years of experience in bakery operational settings as a baker, supervisor or manager
- valid driver’s license with dependable transportation
- ability to read, analyze and interpret business news, press releases, trade publications and technical procedures
- strong presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences
- proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- experience with CRM platforms is a plus
- ability to conduct math related to baking processes and business operations including yield calculations, costing and profit analysis
- problem-solving skills with ability to interpret and follow various instructions
Job Duties
- adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules as stated in the employee handbook and otherwise communicated
- exemplify the bakeMark core values and ways of working in all assigned responsibilities and other projects as assigned
- plan and lead execution of assigned technical service meetings and projects
- manage own schedule actively to support sales and marketing
- demonstrate and troubleshoot bakeMark products in customer bakeries or facilities
- collaborate with customers to develop and implement bakeMark products
- lead planning and execution of regional training for assigned sales teams in online and in-person formats
- support technical elements of product development including testing and analysis
- act as subject matter expert for technical support related to large account management, trade events and special projects
- lead localized recipe development for assigned sales teams
- follow bakeMark best practices in marketing, good manufacturing practices and food safety rules
- maintain housekeeping and sanitation duties as assigned
