Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a sous chef or head chef
  • Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Proficient in operating standard kitchen equipment such as broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, slicer, chef knives
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to speak, read, and write in English
  • Valid food handling certificate required
  • Previous experience in athletic, wellness-focused, or performance dining is preferred

Job Duties

  • Complete daily meal preparation under the direction of the Executive Chef
  • Execute from-scratch cooking across all areas of meal preparation with a strong focus on nutrition and dietary requirements
  • Prepare and follow recipes accurately and independently
  • Complete assigned menus in a timely manner aligned with scheduled meal service times
  • Maintain an A-grade level of cleanliness in kitchen and equipment
  • Follow strict food safety protocols including FIFO standards such as labeling, dating, rotating, screening products
  • Support the development and execution of new recipes aligned with current food trends and athlete dietary needs
