Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 16
- worker's permit required if under 18
- TB clearance within 12 months prior to start date or new test if last test was before 16th birthday
- 0-1 years of food service or retail experience
- ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop during shifts
- mobility in cold refrigerated and freezer conditions
- basic math and computer skills
- ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
- cash handling and customer service preferred
- current or obtainable food handler certification within 30 days
- ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16 with worker's permit if under 18
- TB clearance within 12 months prior to start date
- 0-1 years of experience in food service or equivalent retail experience
- ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout the shift
- ability to work in refrigerated environments from 40 to -10 degrees Fahrenheit
- basic math and computer skills including Microsoft and POS
- ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
- preferred cash handling and customer service skills
- current food handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions in English
- high school diploma or commensurable experience preferred
- working experience with computers, smart phones, iPads, and POS systems preferred
- knowledge of food industry or retail operations and nutrition terminology a plus
