Job Requirements
- Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience in a fast-paced retail or food preparation environment preferred
- Ability to stand, crouch and reach for extended periods
- Intermediate language skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Intermediate reasoning ability
- Familiarity with equipment such as proofer, oven, microwave, hot case, Hobart scale, knives, and knife sharpener
- Competence with computer systems including POS and email

Job Duties
- Preparation of in-house baked good items according to product specifications
- Package, price and provide appropriate signage for bakery items as needed
- Receive orders and process orders from vendors
- Ensure products are stocked well and rotated
- Maintain sanitary and organized kitchen production area, according to all governing codes, guidelines and regulations
- Maintain orderly backstock/freezer area
- Merchandise bakery table, bread shelves and other bakery item displays throughout the store
- Coordinate appropriate signage for products
- Coordinate product with Marketing Coordinator for demo and sampling
- Train staff as directed
- Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts
- Ensure follow-up of department phone calls and messages
- Assist customers throughout other departments
