Job Duties
- prepare and serve food at one or more stations
- handle customer requests as a cashier or order taker
- monitor cooking and holding times of prepared foods
- discard food that exceeds safe waiting times
- maintain order and cleanliness in the kitchen
- wash trays, pans, grates and other kitchen equipment by hand
- clean walls, tables, seats, mop floors and clean restrooms
- collect trash in the parking lot and perform other cleaning duties
- dismantle and disinfect kitchen equipment during closing
- climb ladders to clean hood filters during closing
- empty hot oil vats for filtering or disposal during closing
- degrease floors during closing
