Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Available to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand and move for long periods
- Capable of following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and orders
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile and take orders accurately
- Take phone and catering orders to assist guests
- Call out order numbers creatively when giving out completed orders
- Prepare food items such as Italian Beef, Burgers, Hot Dogs, and Fries according to Portillo's standards
- Follow recipes to create fresh, made-to-order salads
- Maintain clean and sanitary workspaces
- Cook food promptly and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed
