Job Requirements
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to stand and/or walk for assigned shift
- Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience in a kitchen facility
- Food Handlers Permit
- Current knowledge of occupational safety issues and food safety guidelines
- Ability to pass Nisqually Red Wind Casino pre-employment testing
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain a Class II gaming license
Job Duties
- Prepare both Team Member Dining Room and Main Kitchen food items for daily service
- Keep cold and hot wells clean and well maintained throughout the shift
- Monitor food temperatures on all hot and cold foods
- Rotate all food items to ensure freshness
- Stock food items and paper products in the Team Member Dining Room
- Clean all kitchen and dining room areas to maintain sanitation standards
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HACCP health and safety standards
- Communicate with Main Kitchen regarding updates and menu changes
- Perform other duties as assigned
