Job Requirements

  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for assigned shift
  • Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment

Job Qualifications

  • One year of experience in a kitchen facility
  • Food Handlers Permit
  • Current knowledge of occupational safety issues and food safety guidelines
  • Ability to pass Nisqually Red Wind Casino pre-employment testing
  • Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain a Class II gaming license

Job Duties

  • Prepare both Team Member Dining Room and Main Kitchen food items for daily service
  • Keep cold and hot wells clean and well maintained throughout the shift
  • Monitor food temperatures on all hot and cold foods
  • Rotate all food items to ensure freshness
  • Stock food items and paper products in the Team Member Dining Room
  • Clean all kitchen and dining room areas to maintain sanitation standards
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and HACCP health and safety standards
  • Communicate with Main Kitchen regarding updates and menu changes
  • Perform other duties as assigned
