Job Requirements
- No experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately
- Ability to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate store equipment safely including forklift and baler unless under age 18
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders frequently
- Ability to maintain safety procedures and complete required training
- Ability to handle and be in contact with birds/poultry
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to process information through point-of-sale system
Job Qualifications
- No experience required
- retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to ethically resolve issues and minimize conflict
Job Duties
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Work scheduled shifts with varied hours including days, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through greeting customers, uncovering needs, recommending products, and adding value
- Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures
- Recover merchandise and participate in mandatory freight process
- Complete plan-o-gram procedures including merchandising sets and resets
- Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties
- Execute price changes and markdowns
- Operate forklift and cardboard baler unless under age 18
- Assist customers with loading purchases
- Ensure a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from competitors
- Ensure safety and well-being of birds and maintain poultry holding tanks
- Complete all documentation associated with duties
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
