Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- No prior experience required
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately
- Ability to work scheduled shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and operating store equipment
- Ability to safely work in a retail environment with moderate noise
- Ability to complete training and certification for propane dispensing (if applicable)
- Ability to operate forklift and baler if 18 years or older
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No experience required but retail or relevant experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding preferred
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict
Job Duties
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Work scheduled shifts including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA by greeting customers, uncovering their needs and wants, recommending product solutions, asking to add value, and appreciating the customer
- Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures
- Recover merchandise
- Participate in mandatory freight processing
- Complete Plan-o-gram procedures including merchandising, sets, and resets
- Assemble merchandise
- Perform janitorial duties
- Execute price changes and markdowns
- Operate forklift and cardboard baler (if 18 or older)
- Assist customers with loading purchases
- Ensure a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from competition
- Ensure the safety and well-being of birds including sanitizing and maintaining poultry holding tanks
- Complete all associated documentation
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
