Job Requirements
- a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
- ability to read, write, and count accurately
- maintain regular and predictable attendance
- ability to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and overtime
- physically ability to move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds
- ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment
- ability to frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders
- ability to safely operate store equipment including forklifts and balers if 18 or older
- ability to handle and be in contact with birds/poultry
- ability to successfully complete all required training and certifications including propane certification if applicable
Job Qualifications

- retail or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge strongly preferred
- ability to read, write, and count accurately
- strong communication and problem-solving skills
- basic computer skills
- strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict
Job Duties
- maintain regular and predictable attendance
- work scheduled shifts including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime
- deliver Legendary Customer Service through greeting customers, uncovering needs, recommending products, and adding value
- operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures
- recover merchandise and participate in freight processes
- complete plan-o-gram merchandising, sets, and resets
- assemble merchandise
- perform janitorial duties
- execute price changes and markdowns
- operate forklift and cardboard baler (if 18 or older)
- assist customers with loading purchases
- ensure safety and well-being of birds, including sanitizing poultry holding tanks
- complete all associated documentation
- perform other duties as assigned
