Job Requirements
- No experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to safely operate store equipment including forklift and baler if age 18 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders frequently
- Ability to handle and be in contact with birds
- Ability to successfully complete required training and certifications including propane dispensing if age 18 or older

- Retail experience or farming, ranching, pet, equine, or welding knowledge preferred
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict
Job Duties
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Work scheduled shifts including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through greeting customers, uncovering needs and wants, recommending products, adding value and appreciating customers
- Operate cash register and computer following cash handling procedures
- Recover merchandise
- Participate in mandatory freight process
- Complete plan-o-gram procedures including merchandising, sets, and resets
- Assemble merchandise
- Perform janitorial duties
- Execute price changes and markdowns
- Operate forklift and cardboard baler (if 18 or older)
- Assist customers with loading purchases
- Ensure customers receive a Legendary shopping experience
- Ensure safety and well-being of birds including sanitizing and maintaining poultry holding tanks
- Complete all related documentation
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
