Job Requirements
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to work scheduled shifts including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to operate a cash register and follow cash handling procedures
- Ability to recover merchandise and participate in freight processing
- Ability to complete plan-o-grams and perform merchandising tasks
- Ability to assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties
- Ability to execute price changes and markdowns
- Ability to operate forklifts and cardboard balers if 18 or older
- Ability to assist customers with loading purchases
- Ability to ensure safety and well-being of birds and maintain poultry tanks
- Ability to complete required documentation
- Ability to perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Qualifications
- No experience required
- Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict
Job Duties
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Work scheduled shifts with flexibility to include varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending product solutions, and adding value
- Operate cash register and computer systems following established cash handling procedures
- Recover merchandise and participate in mandatory freight processing
- Complete plan-o-gram procedures including merchandising, sets, and resets
- Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties
- Execute price changes and markdowns
- Operate forklifts and cardboard balers where age-appropriate
- Assist customers with loading purchases
- Ensure customer safety and satisfaction with their shopping experience
- Maintain and sanitize poultry holding tanks and care for birds as required
- Complete all related documentation accurately
- Perform additional duties as assigned
