Job Requirements
- no prior experience necessary
- must be at least 16 years of age
- ability to perform basic math and count cash
- ability to read and comprehend instructions related to equipment and processes
- physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- ability to stand for prolonged periods
- capability to scoop hard ice cream repetitively
- flexible availability for varied shifts including holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas
- reliable and accountable work ethic
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 16 years old
- ability to perform basic math and handle cash transactions
- strong communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- team-oriented with good interpersonal skills
- prior retail or food service experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- greet and assist customers with their ice cream selections
- operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and equipment
- scoop and serve ice cream while adhering to quality standards
- collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
- restock supplies and inventory as needed
- assist in training new team members if in a shift leader role
