Job Requirements

16 years of age or older
Capable of speaking, reading, and writing effectively
Excellent oral communication skills for effective interaction with management, corporate staff, restaurant employees, and customers
Must comply with McAlister's grooming and uniform policy
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to work flexible hours
Capacity to travel to assigned restaurant location and operate respective workstations
Must be able to stand and walk 80-90 percent of the time

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
Familiarity with customer service principles
Ability to maintain cleanliness and order in the workplace
Basic math skills for cash handling
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Good physical stamina

Job Duties

Responsible for preparing certain food items
Responsible for greeting guests and taking their orders accurately in a friendly manner
Requires knowledge of menu items and ingredients and familiarity with step-by-step procedure for friendly and efficient customer service
Responsible for accurate cash control
Responsible for delivering orders to guests
Ensure each order is complete and prepared correctly by being familiar with all menu items and packaging
Responsible for cleaning the dining area and serving guests
Responsible for ensuring each guest receives exactly what is ordered promptly and courteously
Ensure orders directed to dining room, drive-thru, and pickup areas are orderly and organized
Verify all orders for correctness and completion
Responsible for preparing each menu item quickly and according to quality standards
Maintain quality standards of products prepared
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned workstations
