Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks
  • Perform repetitive motions including use of hands and arms for chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
  • Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
  • Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as required by the role
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, with appropriate use of lifting equipment or assistance for heavier loads
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently in the kitchen
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Work in a loud, fast-paced environment
  • Regular exposure to varying temperature zones including hot kitchen areas and cold storage
  • Awareness and compliance with personal protective equipment and safety training
  • Adaptability to indoor and outdoor job duties
  • Awareness of potential hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age or comply with state-specific labor laws
  • Prior food service or customer service experience is a plus but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Dependable and punctual

Job Duties

  • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Prepare and assemble food orders accurately and efficiently
  • Operate kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness of workstations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain fast and efficient service
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints promptly
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
