Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food service or customer service helpful but not required
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry items weighing 25 to 50 pounds
Must comply with all applicable Child Labor Laws
Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
Must maintain good personal hygiene and grooming standards
Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment
Must be authorized to work in the country
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Ability to maintain a safe and clean workspace

Ability to receive and respond promptly to requests, orders and instructions
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers

Ability to learn POS Cash Register operations, kitchen screens, and recipes

Job Duties

Greet and thank customers
Place customer food and beverage orders through verbal communication and/or automated systems
Relay customer food and beverage orders from service counter to kitchen operations
Cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages by using kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, cooking vats, ice machines, and food processors while following food safety and sanitation procedures
Stock kitchen and customer service areas with food, beverage, packaging and service materials
Stock salsa bars with sauces, condiments, paper and utensils
Fill food and beverage orders as part of coordinated operations
Collect customer payments and return proper change using cash register
Unload deliveries of food, beverage, packaging and serving materials
Clean the entire restaurant premises including floors, tables, seats, windows, countertops, kitchenware, and equipment
Observe and follow alcoholic beverage laws when applicable
Maintain safe public access to the restaurant
Perform other duties as assigned by management
