Job Requirements
- 16 years of age or older
- Ability to stand and walk for 95 to 100 percent of shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be self-reliant and follow instructions from management
- Adherence to McAlister's uniform and grooming policy
- Ability to travel to assigned locations and operate respective work stations
- Excellent oral communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year experience in casual restaurant dining
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms
- Familiarity with customer service procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
Job Duties
- Responsible for preparation of certain food items
- Responsible for greeting guests and taking orders accurately and friendly
- Knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- Responsible for accurate cash control
- Deliver orders to guests ensuring completeness and quality
- Maintain cleanliness in dining room and service areas
- Ensure guest orders are correct and delivered courteously
- Assist other stations as needed
- Fill all drinks
- Prepare menu items quickly and according to standards
