Job Requirements
- 16 years of age or older
- ability to stand and walk for approximately 95 to 100 percent of shift
- able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- able to work flexible hours
- ability to travel to assigned restaurant location
- adherence to McAlister's uniform and grooming policy
- ability to be self-reliant and execute duties as directed by management
- able to speak, read, and write effectively
- excellent oral communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of experience in a casual restaurant dining environment
- ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Responsible for the preparation of certain food items
- responsible for greeting guests and taking their orders accurately in a friendly manner
- knowledgeable of menu items and customer service procedures
- responsible for accurate cash control
- responsible for delivering orders to guests ensuring completeness and correctness
- responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the dining room and service areas
- assist other stations when needed without neglecting own responsibilities
