Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old, subject to Child Labor Laws where applicable
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to stand for extended periods during shifts
Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds periodically
Must possess basic reading and communication skills in English
Must have capacity to follow safety and food hygiene standards
Must be willing to adhere to company policies and hold a positive attitude at work
Must be able to use electronic ordering and payment systems
Must be flexible to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Greet and thank customers
Place customer food and beverage orders through verbal communication and/or automated systems
Relay customer food and beverage orders from service counter to kitchen operations
Cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages in kitchen operations using kitchen equipment while adhering to proper food safety and sanitation procedures
Stock kitchen and customer service operations with necessary food, beverage, packaging and service materials
Stock salsa bars with appropriate levels of sauces, condiments, paper and utensils
Fill food and beverage orders of customers as part of coordinated kitchen and customer service operations
Collect customer payments and return proper change through use of cash register
Unload deliveries of food, beverage, packaging and serving materials to restaurant
Clean the interior and exterior of the entire restaurant premises including floors, tables, seats, windows, doors, countertops, kitchenware, and kitchen equipment
Observe and follow alcoholic beverage laws when applicable
Maintain safe public access to the restaurant
Perform all other duties as assigned by management
