Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
must be able to perform essential functions including lifting up to 20 pounds and standing for extended periods
must be willing to obtain a food handler's license
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
maintain professional appearance with proper uniform and grooming
ability to engage warmly with customers
effective verbal communication skills
willing to collaborate with team members and management
adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols
able to follow cash handling procedures
willing to participate in training and development programs
ability to perform repetitive motions and walk frequently

Job Duties

Prepare menu items according to Tasty Chick'n's standards and procedures
follow specific recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency in flavor and presentation
utilize appropriate cooking techniques and equipment to achieve the best results
adhere to proper holding times and temperatures to guarantee freshness
regularly monitor food items to ensure safe temperature ranges
rotate stock efficiently to minimize waste
package food products in approved containers to prevent spillage and maintain quality
label food items appropriately especially for takeout orders
conduct quality checks on finished products by visual inspection and taste-testing
always wear the complete and proper uniform
maintain eye contact and engage warmly with customers
follow cash handling and security protocols
collaborate effectively with teammates and accept coaching
communicate positively with customers, colleagues, and managers
keep food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitary
follow guidelines for safe food handling including glove use and cross-contamination prevention
maintain cleanliness in all restaurant areas including lobby, kitchen, restrooms, and exterior
participate in routine deep cleaning tasks
assist in maintaining organized inventory and proper supply storage
