Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and/or weekends
- Able to stand and move intermittently for 4 to 8 hours during shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to bend, reach, and perform physical tasks required in a coffeehouse environment
- Willingness to follow all cash handling policies and procedures
- Commitment to delivering excellent guest service
- Ability to take direction and work under pressure
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and/or weekends
- Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and provide excellent customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Job Duties
- Provide incredible guest service by developing personal ongoing relationships with guests
- Practice active listening and connection
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively solve guest opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality
- Make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests
- Create day making experiences that spark a chain reaction of GOOD
- Hand-craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
- Heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings to Caribou standard operating procedures
- Float between barista and guest service and willingly fulfill all team member roles and responsibilities
- Take guest orders and manage cash drawer following all cash handling policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards of the store
- Think and act proactively on team and guest needs
- Differentiate between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support
- Take direction from leaders while managing multiple priorities
- Bring Core Values to life by supporting one another, making fun happen, being yourself, taking ownership, and serving with love
- Bring joy and make fun happen during interactions
- Be helpful to team members and guests
